“Endurance is not just the ability to bear a hard thing, but to turn it into glory.”

– William Barclay

It’s snowing again. Sometimes it feels like winter will never end.

And sometimes I step out into the street, feel the silent light falling and say, “Thank you, Lord. It’s beautiful.”

    1. We have lived here for 30 years and I’ve never seen this much snow. Something good is going to come out of it, I’m sure – if not increased revenue at the ski hills and fuller reservoirs and greener pastures come summer, then at least increased endurance in the character of valley dwellers.
