Sometimes it’s hard to see that beauty in us… even in this, we need His help. Thanks for that thought today. Also, the photo is absolutely beautiful!!

I think that’s another reason why we need each other. In the way we cannot see our own faces (unless it’s a mirror image or a photo of the way we used to be) we cannot easily see the glory of God in ourselves. When we bless someone we tell them what we see -love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, etc.
Children especially need to be told about the beauty in them, or they will never know. If all they hear is reports of smudges or what’s wrong with them, they will identify more with flaws than beauty. So many of us have heard a long litany of what’s wrong with us and what needs improvement that we are unaware of the glory of God in our lives.
You, dear Daisy, shine with the beauty of creativity and the joy of colour that God has placed in you.
