“Tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope.” That is the order. You cannot put patience and experience into a parenthesis, and, omitting them, bring hope out of tribulation.
Oh Janelle, this year has been such an intense lesson in learning to live by faith and not just by measurable, observable facts that it is starting to sink in. Really, is there any other way? Why don’t we just start there? Things look impossible when we are up against a fence just higher than our eyeballs. God invites us to see things from his perspective. See the BIG picture. Take the loooooongview.
Thank you for travelling this road with me and praying through so many crisis de jour. May you be wrapped in the warmth of His love.
“Realer than real” as in the angel armies Elisha prayed for his servant to see swooping down on the tough guys sent to intimidate them? That realer than real?
Love your intense commitment to living in faith through all of this.

Lots of us talk the talk, but you have really walked the walk. I’ve been touched, blessed, encouraged, challenged so often by your posts. Really.
