Photo: Elk Valley
The pastures of the wilderness overflow,
the hills gird themselves with joy,
the valleys deck themselves with grain,
they shout and sing together for joy.
Psalm 65
Sometimes the best way through the valley is through the valley. That’s where the feast is kept.

The picture is gorgeous. We live in Kentucky which is part of the Ohio Valley. It sure has its pros and cons. Couple hundred years ago the Indians would hunt here in Kentucky it was excellent hunting grounds.

I’ve heard it’s very beautiful. I would like to visit Kentucky some day. The Elk Valley, which I drove through yesterday, apparently still has excellent hunting grounds, (although I am armed with a camera only) and from the evidence left on my front walk way this morning the deer are plentiful. May the Lord bless your day, Beatrix.
