Change

Most Christians are still living with an Old Testament view of their heart. Jeremiah 17:9 says, ‘The heart is deceitfully wicked.’

No it’s not. Not after the work of Christ, because the promise of the new covenant is a new heart.

I hope more people come to enjoy your art. My daughter has artistic talent. Her work shines out because (from a very young age) her perception (to me) seems an effortless expression that comes from a place that touches what is unknown to me. I can see that place in her work, and I can see it in yours as well.
I really thought on the quote and still thinking on it.

    1. Thank you so much, Nansea. I would love to see your daughter’s art. As for the quote, it has made me think as well. Not long ago I realized I had dismissed so many things written in the New Testament as being too good to be true. There must be a catch somewhere. And yet I am challenged to read again, meditate again, pray again and think again. Did Jesus really mean what He said? If the gospel is the good news why do we so often act as if it is the almost good news? The “yeah, but” news. Jesus said over and over again, “I’m telling you the truth!” (Or in old English, verily, verily) I wonder if he is still saying it to us.
