Forgiving does not erase the bitter past. A healed memory is not a deleted memory. Instead, forgiving what we cannot forget creates a new way to remember. We change the memory of our past into a hope for our future.
Thanks, Ruth. I had to look at it several times myself to figure out how the reflections worked. To me it almost looks like there’s a negative and a positive side and the whole thing is floating in the air. Weird. But it was a beautiful day for reflections on the lake.
