I love this verse. It greatly encourages me to believe in God when I see no reason to believe in myself. Praise Him who never fails to arrive on time and whose word can be trusted!

Ooh, that was a test of waiting, wasn’t it? Didn’t the water stop way upstream after they stepped in? I wonder how long they had to wait until it disappeared where they were.

Good question. It doesn’t say how long but the waters were cut off at a town called Adam, which is another story altogether 🙂
