
Sometimes standing up means standing out.
Humility is not the same thing as shyness.
Humility is knowing who you are and who you are becoming.
The humble have no need to seek attention because they know God loves them
and that’s enough;
for the same reason they have no need to hide.
Very timely post. A friend and I were just talking about what it means to be “gentle of spirit”, and how it doesn’t mean one is introverted or quiet. Gentleness of spirit and humility….something to pray for! 🙂
