All this will flow from the kind and compassionate mercy of our God.
A new day is dawning:
the Sunrise from the heavens will break through in our darkness,
And those who huddle in night,
those who sit in the shadow of death,
Will be able to rise and walk in the light,
guided in the pathway of peace.
(Luke 1:78, 79 The Voice)
We can’t fight darkness by focusing on darkness; it only leads to more fear. But if we walk in the Light, live in the Light, and the Light lives in us, darkness is displaced. In the Presence of the Light darkness must flee.
Rise.
Walk.
Shine.
Great title – it really caught my attention. Just imagine the glory of a world immersed in, walking in, choosing Light…

*shudder* Those days will come and go, won’t they? Choosing on such days brings the Light into even greater focus, and unleashes all the more heat and power!

We are experiencing the reality of needing His light in the darkness as our much loved son-in-law had emergency surgery tonight for flesh-eating disease in his leg. He is going to make it and we are so grateful for the goodness of God. I can’t describe how much this young man means to us and he has such a love for the Lord. He faces a potentially long recovery, but we have seen miracles before and expect them again. He will rise, walk and shine.

Deborah, I have always felt that we should not let “religion” get in the way of our relationship with Jesus Christ. As this article stated:”The gift of faith is a priceless spiritual endowment. “This is life eternal,” Jesus prayed, “that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
My personal motto is, “That I might know Him…”
He is faithful.
Thank you, dear heart.
