Photo: On the Cowboy Trail in cattle country, Alberta
He owns the cattle on a thousand hills
The wealth in every mine,
He owns the rivers and the rocks and rills,
The sun and stars that shine,
Wonderful riches more than tongue can tell
He is my Father so they’re mine as well
He owns the cattle on a thousand hills
I know that He will care for me.
God is good to us. I love the picture it looks so tranquil. Thank you.

Thanks, Beatrix. I get to drive this route whenever I visit my son and his family. This is about as dense as the population gets for about two hours. (We tend to measure distance in terms of time. It’s a Canadian thing.) Those dark spots are cows.
