This is near the beginning of the trail to the old growth forest in the Elk Valley. It’s amazing to think about how long these mountains and trees have stood. We are but a blip in history, and yet God chose us for such a time as this.

So true and makes me think of the Woolly mammoth skeleton found a few hours from me. And even before then, He had us in mind!
