How good it is to give thanks to the Eternal
and to praise Your name with song, O Most High;
to speak of Your unfailing love in the morning
and rehearse Your faithfulness as night begins to fall.
How good it is to praise to the sound of strings—lute and harp—
the stirring melodies of the lyre.
Because You, O Eternal One,
thrill me with the things You have done,
I will sing with joy in light of Your deeds.
(Psalm 92:1-4)
Your photo? The dark trees just pop against the background. God has even made our temporary home glorious 🙂

Yes, it’s mine. We love living here, but there are better things to come. His glory shines in the the world he created, but can you imagine the things he has prepared for us since then?

No kidding. I remember looking out the window one day at the most beautiful spring day, sunlight glittering through the trees, & realizing all of it was a shadow of things to come. The mind boggles to think of a world where Christ is all & in all…

There is a magical moment when all the snow on the tips of the branches of giant fir and pine trees in the forest melts in the sun at the same time. Each droplet becomes a rainbow and it looks like the sky is pelting a shower of diamonds. I don’t know how to capture it because it’s a rare event, but I have the same reaction; as marvelous as it is we ain’t seen nothin’ yet!
