Lift up the light of Your face, Lord!

Tremble, and do not sin;
Meditate in your heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah

Offer the sacrifices of righteousness,
And trust in the Lord.

Many are saying, “Who will show us anything good?”
Lift up the light of Your face upon us, Lord!

You have put joy in my heart,
More than when their grain and new wine are abundant.

In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
For You alone, Lord, have me dwell in safety.

Psalm 4: 4-8 NASB

Some things are too big for me to understand, not that I don’t try to anyway. I know what it is to tremble from fear. I also know the One who calms the storms and asks, with a gentle voice, “Why are you afraid when I am here? I’m not worried. Even the winds and waves obey Me. I’ve got this.”

May His face shine upon you and give you peace.

Rest now. He’s got this.
