About

Charis Psallo is the pen name of a woman born in the second half of the last century. She knows God loves her just as she is, but too much to leave her this way. Her friends say she is so right-brained it’s a wonder she can walk upright.

I think “this” person is awesome. A very gifted lady with such a wonderful variety of gifts. It’s her heart to share them with the world…cuz they are gifts to “give away”, not to keep for herself. May God increase them with depth and His Life..again xx

Dear Charis, I share your gift of the still small voice, and as you surely know, being led to investigate the metaphorical meaning of “cambium layer” also proves His sense of humor. I was also led to Cambium layer, though in a more roundabout way. I’m glad there’s more than one of us! If you are equally led, please feel free to write back. There is so much to share.

    1. Nice to meet you, Mr. Gillis. Abba does indeed have a great sense of humour. I welcome dialogue with kindred spirits but prefer to keep discussions with the opposite gender public for the sake of accountability. Do you also have a blog?

  3. I really appreciate God directing me to your blog today. “Subject to change”–YES! and God LOVES ME, YES! I’m in a difficult season–a testing no doubt; and though I feel disappointment, impatience, grief and pain, some anger–I KNOW that HE is With Me, that His love is Unfailing, His grace pours over me. All He ever asks is that I “show up”–just put one foot in front of the other, for HE is Leading. HE is SO GOOD. God bless you abundantly–Caddo

Thank you for falling me Charis. I have been following you for some time now and you do not know how many times God has spoken to me through your words and beautiful photos. The one about the School of the Prophets was sooo ‘now’ for me the day you published it. Thank you for your faithful proclaiming of truth. I hope things work out for your family who lost everything in the floods. It’s been very poignant and shocking in turns to hear about their plight. Fond regards,Wondering Celt.

    1. I feel honoured. Your blog is writtten by someone who is obviously not afraid to seek the Lord and go deep. Thank you for leaving a comment. The stats page will tell you that people are reading, but you never really know who is reading and if they can relate unless they leave a comment. You have blessed me today. God go with you, Wondering Celt.

    1. Both of these can be seen from Highway 22 in southern Alberta. It is also called the Cowboy Trail. If I remember correctly the first scene is on the west side of the road between the historical Hay U Ranch (south of Longview) and Chain Lakes recreation area at the intersection with highway 533.

The second was taken further south in the Waldron Ranch area. I took township road 101A just north of the bridge over the Old Man River. I drove east on this gravel road to Range Road 14 until I found a wider panoramic view. Maybe 10 km? If you want you can continue south on narrow gravel backroads (Range
Roads 13a and 14) but it is probably faster and less confusing to return to Highway 22 until it reaches the Crowsnest Highway (3) then turn east until Pincher Creek turn-off going south to Waterton.

If you have time visit the Frank Slide area in the Crowsnest Pass (to the west on hwy 3) and Lundbreck Falls right by the big windmill at the junction of 22 and 3.

If you visit Banff and Waterton before winter highway 40 through Kananaskis to Longview is one of the most beautiful drives in the world. But don’t wander too far from the road on foot as there is a warning about a lot of bears in the area right now. (Watertown also has a lot of grizzly bears right now. Check with the Parks officials about which areas are safe and how to avoid them.) The road closes when the snow arrives.

Also be aware that from Longview to the Crowsnest Pass there are no services like petrol stations or places to buy food and very few houses, so make sure your tank is full and your bladder is empty before you leave Longview. Have a wonderful vacation.

Hi someone mentioned your story in God Speaks to me after I told her how I hear songs all the time and see patterns. I am so grateful to know that I’m not alone. I really want to understand more about how it works. I see so many patterns, but don’t always know what they mean. I haven’t met anyone else that is experiencing this. I would so appreciate any insight. Thank you.

    Blessings

    1. Hi Kat, No, you are not alone. Since God’s voice is the voice you want to hear and understand he’s the first one to ask. Then pay attention. He will answer and bring resources into your life.

If you want you can check out blogs here under the category of “Hearing God” or do a search for “pay attention” or “songs” or “dream”. Feel free to ask questions.
Bless you as you follow the clues to a closer relationship with the Lover of your soul.
