“But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation” 1 Col 1:22
The reality of this truth (that is so seldom applied to our actual belief system) is that since we are made complete in Him… what the world thinks of us… and our own failures AND success.. can have no power to change our sense of worth unless we let them.
And.. in the end.. it does not change the true kingdom reality of our identity in Him.
I was minding my own business one day and God put into my heart the realization that we are transformed by renewing our mind. He showed me how if there is some area where we are not like Christ, it was because we had embraced some lie and needed the Word to enlighten that area. In this way His Word – spoken or written can bring us to his likeness.
